How we verify
your account

Our AML policy sets out how we identify clients and review activity. Here’s what that means when you get started.

01

Confirming your identity

A government-issued photo ID helps establish who is opening the account.

Identity checks
02

Verifying your details

Proof of address and supporting information form part of our client verification process.

Segregated client accounts

Our published FSCA information describes the use of segregated client accounts. Ask which arrangements apply to the entity holding your account and how they operate.

Segregation does not remove trading risk or guarantee the return of funds.

An important distinction

Regulation matters.
So does understanding risk.

Regulatory oversight and client checks do not make trading risk-free. Leveraged products can result in losses. Review the risks, charges and terms that apply to your account before you decide to trade.

Common questions.

What does the FSCA do?

The Financial Sector Conduct Authority regulates market conduct in South Africa. Its mandate includes supporting the integrity of the financial system and promoting fair treatment of financial customers.

Learn about the FSCA ↗
How do I check the regulation that applies to my account?

Use FSP No. 51830 to search the official FSCA register, then compare its legal name, status and authorised services with the entity in your account agreement. A brand name alone does not establish which entity serves your account.

The Terms of Business supplied on this website name a Saint Vincent and the Grenadines entity. Confirm your own contracting entity with Loyal Primus if it is unclear.

Does regulation guarantee my money or trading returns?

No. Regulation is not a guarantee of trading performance or an assurance that you cannot lose money. Do not assume that deposit insurance or compensation arrangements apply to your trading account. Check the protections and risks in your agreement.

Read the Terms of Business ↗
Why am I asked for identity documents?

Our AML policy requires identification and address verification before activation. These checks help establish who owns an account and support client due diligence. Use official account channels for document uploads.

Review the verification requirements ↗
What if a payment or message looks suspicious?

Stop and verify before taking further action. Go directly to the official portal or contact page. Keep the message and transaction reference for your enquiry, but do not share passwords, recovery codes or full card details.

Find account support ↗
Where can I raise a complaint or regulatory concern?

Contact Loyal Primus with a clear description and any relevant references. For a concern involving a South African regulated entity, the FSCA provides an enquiries channel. The appropriate route depends on the entity, service and nature of your concern.
